No age restrictions , it is up to the Mentor to decide if the child is ready. I took my niece at 9 shot her first buck at 10.
Child can shoot antlered deer with junior hunter restrictions , Also squirrels.

Please refer to the Pennsylvania digest. it has a section on mentored hunting, and everything is explained there.

Yes there are age restrictions, once the age of 12 no more mentored hunt, must have a license.
