every year it seems I lose my knife, pelvic bone saw, or watch in the leaves while field dressing my deer. My Dad is usually with me and we laugh every single time when we finally find them. You would think at some point I would learn my lesson and not lay anything down in the leaves.

Funny you said that, I had to retrieve my knife this year in rifle season after I left it at the gut pile for my bear.

we have lost members of our hunting group. seems like all the newbs cant walk in a straight line in the same direction.

I have lost all sorts of equipment in the woods(ie: license, flashlight(S), arrows(shooting at things)

I would like to say I lost my virginity in the woods but I've had a few good times while in the woods hunting!

Opening day of rifle my flashlight bulb blew, so I got out the spare and droped it in the leaves. I also lost my favorite knife that same day.
