As of tonights health care vote -we for all intents and purposes now live in a kingdom.I dont believe for one moment that the second amen. isnt far off in the future.
Know matter where you stand on health care the process was in oppisition to the majority of the American people. In my humble opinion the flood gates are open and our little kings in wash. will now do as they please.
That my friends is a kingdom.

My thoughts..exactly. We probably will never know what went on behind closed doors. Rest assured, it was not for our benefit. The America I grew up in and learned to love , is dying. Rest in peace Uncle Sam. Sleep tight King Obama and Queen Pelosi. Surely your day will come.......

How many will remember their actions and show up at the polls come November? We have an electrate that is known for poor memories and forgiveness to all those already elected.

Two things should happen: 1)An angry citizenry will vote the bums out in November, 2)The SCOTUS will over-rule this law as unconstitutional and we'll be done with it.

This angry citizen will vote for who ever runs against anyone who voted for this mess. I have never missed voting for any primary or general election since I was 21 and I ain't about to start missing now!

Dont forget that his healthcare Czar has decided that gun violence is a disease and with the passage of this bill they will move quickly on our second amendment rights.

You state that this was done in opposition to the majority of americans, when that statement is not quite true! According to a March 7th Gallup poll, when they asked americans:

"Would You Advise Your Representative in Congress to Vote for or Against a Healthcare Reform Bill Similar to the One Proposed by President Obama?"

The answer was : 45% said they would advise to vote for
48% said they would advise to vote against
07% had no opinion

I would hardly call that a majority.

see for yourself http://www.gallup.com/poll/126521/Favor-Oppose-Obama-Healthcare-Plan.aspx or do you just want to believe that those who make the most noise are the majority because they are the loudest. When I was in grade school the nuns punished us for being loud and obnoxious.

Ahhh--silly me i didn't look at JUST one poll(gallup) I looked at several and kind of averaged them all out in my silly head. That gallup poll would still be a majority--wouldn't it? I think 48% is still greater than 45%. Its also in the demographics of where the poll is taken and the who/what /and how the questions are asked. Thats why I averaged it out and came up with the same silly math-A majority!A 48% too 45% would win a Presedential election wouldn't It? Or have I forgotten my civics lessons over the years? Some polls put It at 62% opposed. which would make it a landslide in an election. Average It out you let me know what the math comes out to.
BTW-- I have a dog in this race--I have lost my health insurance twice! I have a son with Autisim(preexisting condition)If you follow my post-you will see that my grip is not the bill perse( though I hate the bill also) but the methodology used to pass It. The process was that of a Monarchy not a Republic.I of all people know the health care situation is bad. The last thing my health insur. said to me was that my bill would be $ 2700.00 per month for self employed insurance. If you are motivated in your opinions by(I know this is a can of worms) being a union man-- I worked for the -United steel workers Union many years, all they ever did was take my money and gave me nothing. All(and I mean ALL) the shop stewards were corrupt.(paid off on the side- by the company.) All my money 'dues' went to fat cats and political causes and who knows where else.35 years and i still can't get the taste out of my mouth. I see unions and companys trapped in a cycle of greed that neither can get out from. My greatgrandfather worked in Pa. coal mine 18 cents an hour by the end of the week he owed the company money. Then in meat packing houses in midwest 28 cents hour -they fired him in his late 60s so they wouldn't have to pay him his retiement. He died a dog catcher --So then we have Unions--Then 'they' get greedy and use and abuse the working man.I personally had a foreman messup to the tune of 1/4 million$ and try to blame it on me --which they couldn't because I took copious notes. and my socalled shop steward tried to side with the company. Who do you think got all the double shifts in which he actually rolled out a mattress and slept through?. Anyway check the math--I think you will still come up with a majority. And those 'votes' were not paid for with big bribes to get 51% Just free opinions.

The Rasmussen tracking polls on the question of healthcare reform and this specific law posted the following results:
March 17 45% favored the bill and 52% opposed it.
March 19-20 41% favored it and 54% opposed it.

Now that the progressives are basking in their socialist victory (although temporary), next on the agenda will be our firearms. Read the latest issue of American Rifleman and see what executive orders are in store for us.

Primaries are long before that. Not such a long period of time. Many incumbents have opposition. We then have another choice in November.

Be sure to look at the state candidates as well. A lot to be upset about within the state legislature as well.

The ones who voted against it are still on my NO VOTE list. They did not do enough to prevent it. I already told Shuster sorry no vote.
