I am looking for something to attach to my weedeater that will cut small saplings. I have tried that one thing that is a flat plate and with 3 cutting edges but it's way too slow.
When I used to work at a golf coarse we had this one attachment that was a chain like the on a bike.... that thing went through everything and fast.
Thanks for any and all suggestions.

i have one that is a chainsaw for my Stihl FS 85 powerhead.. Now Stihl calls it a Kombimotor. I also use a blade that looks like a circular saw blade if I have lots of small pinky size saplings. This blade takes a special adapter to run on my weedeater head.

I use a Ryobi weed eater I bought from Home Depot that comes from the factory with a 4 bladed metal cutting head. It'll cut saplings up to about 1.5" in size. It tears through green briars, rasberries and other softer brush.
