Do they make a product that will kill weeds and not the clover? If so, can it be bought without a license? Thanks in advance.

Butarac 200 also known as 2-4_ D B NOT..... to be confused with 2-4 D. Butarac will kill broadleaves in MATURE clover. Don't use on young clover.

Poast ( active ingredient Sethoxydim) is for grasses in clover and alfalfa. Also need crop oil to mix with or it won't stick. Very important.

Stay away from Arrest and Slay. Same stuff but watered down concentrate and much more expensive cuz you pay for the shiny label with the deer on it.

Clover ATLEAST 2 years old. If you have weeds in less than year old clover you will be fighting an uphill battle with that plot until its re-done with proper weeb control at planting. Their is no magic spray that will make up for poor plot prep. Mow, mow and mow some more is the best band-aid for a weedy clover plot. Clover thrives on mowing, most weeds don't. So that will eliminate some but not all weeds(especially grasses).

But on the bright side, most of those "weed" are eaten by deer too (not all) especially when they are young/mowed so I usually don't sweat some weeds in clover.
