Since that's NOT a headline, you gotta' ask yourself "why"?

Since Walmart's were not shut down, shouldn't there be huge numbers of walmart employees infected? Shouldn't their families all be infected too? Shoppers were concentrated to Walmart's, shouldn't every walmart be a "hot spot"?

That ought to answer if the shutdown was needed or not.

it was a problem here in Erie at what is commonly known as the ghetto mart. its in the inner city. one employee tested positive. then the county stopped telling people where those that tested positive were. we do know 6 employees at "a business" tested positive...they wont name the business, they wont tell us where positive people have been after they find out thru contact tracing.

it could be a huge problem, but the county wont spill the beans. 30 new cases over the last several days. 8 more today...

yep. she also named a small family restaurant the re-opened and bashed them into ground verbally. every day on the news. this lady followed all the guidelines afforded to other open businesses but for some reason they dragged her name thru the mud but wouldnt, and still wont, name the business with 6 positive employees or give general locations of where the positive people may have contracted the virus.
i believe with out that general info folks really wont take this serious. cases will climb (they are) and we will remain in the yellow phase or possibly go back to red because of idiots and poor leadership.
no information is the same as misinformation.
businesses are failing around here. the bourbon barrel is up for sale, its a turn key operation with help and contracts for parties thru 2021, very popular and successful business. Chovys in meadville is now closed and up for sale due to the virus. Erie school district is claiming they may have to charge every household $172.00 because the casinos are closed...where do they think unemployed people are going to get this ? i am waiting for them to double bill the school tax like they did years ago too.

ITS TIME TO OPEN THE COUNTRY PEOPLE !!

if folks dont take precautions....thats on them.

did Ohio put covid patients in the nursing homes ? or maybe they are counting actual covid deaths and not made up ones !

Isn't it remarkable that either one of those questions is not the slightest bit ridiculous or meant to be tongue in cheek at all but real questions. Says a whole lot about Wolf, Levine, our reps and the voters here in Pa.

check this out, erie county has 16 new cases https://www.goerie.com/news/20200528/state-over-70k-total-covid-19-cases-16-new-in-erie-county

or is it only 7 https://www.erienewsnow.com/story/42184934/pennsylvania-coronavirus-cases-top-70000-state-reports-7-new-positives-242-total-in-erie-county

way to funny...how hard is it to report real numbers ? and the number of new cases is going up state wide too.

Yep, next they'll be counting the road kill deer carcasses along side the highway as covid-19 deaths and throwing them into the total.

Good point! Maybe Walmart, Home Depot and Lowes are doing a good job not letting it leak out. I hear of Sheetz and Turkey Hill employees getting it. I thought for sure Lowes and Home Depot would have cases because customers frequently need to talk to employees for help with their DIY home projects.

i believe walmart employees are getting it. they touch everything in the store, especially at check out. the employer with the 6 positive cases that they are keeping quiet is either walmart or the county of erie itself and they dont want it out. just an opinion.
our county executive mentioned all the other businesses that had positive employees then went quiet when this happened, even stomped all over a family run restaurant when they bucked the "orders" and opened up.

things that make ya go hmmm

I was in a hardware store in Columbia a couple weeks back and they had sign that said to wear masks, there was two people that didn`t and nothing was said. When dad questioned the one clerk that was talking to the , claimed he hasn`t noticed.

Can get to the front of the line pretty quick...Cough a couple times and mumble to yourself "I just don't feel the same since I got back from NY".
