Were at the cabin for Memorial Day having a blast lot of fun looking for some things that we could go do during the day when it's 90 degrees tomorrow family of 5 ... five-year-old two-and-a-half-year-old 6 month old any ideas?

I'm so used to Tioga in the fall winter and early spring

Hills Creek State Park has some things going on this weekend, including the Fish for Free day. They have a Facebook page. Very nice park.

I'm thinking we're just going to have to tough it out having kids as young as I do, rafting, taking them fishing all day, isn't a real thing but ot is 10 times better here than it is at home have a good weekend everyone and if you do have another good idea for a young family you let me know .... I'm thinking water gun fight at this point!

Crawfish hunt... My kids request it everytime we are up. They have been doing it since they could walk.
As long as I've been coming to Tioga County, 20 years now I've never Heard of animal and zoo, thanks. We ended up with a couple of grass sprinklers and a bunch of water guns that coupled with a trip to the stream to find crayfish did it. Why didn't I think of that loved doing it as a kid! Had to keep reminding them to fake the crayfish out and scoop from behind. Good times. 80 in the cabin now wow!

Animal land is closed. Animals removed
I try to make a yearly pilgrimage to the PA Grand Canyon to enjoy the scenery, eat at the Wellsboro Diner and to visit this zoo. I had mixed feelings about the zoo; keeping the tiger in that small space and the bear too kind of got to me every time. Hope the critters are okay and the owners too.

Your concerns were the focus. The property has been sold. New owners not sure what they will do with it.

10 pounds of flour and a couple quarts of water will keep them busy.

Kept my (41 YO) "kid" busy knocking down weeds, cutting/splitting/stacking this fall's firewood.

Did have to hook up the A/C for him when it hit 92, though. Didn't want him and the dog to suffer.

Had lunch and ice cream last fall at Animal land...didnt notice it right away but the smell of cat urine was completely unbearable especially inside when we went to use the restroom. Sorry but that place was disgusting with cats roaming around everywhere
