I just put a Diamondback on a older 700, 30-06. The optics are nice and clear for a scope that was right around 190 bucks. The elevation adjustment was very mushy and the .25 click did not seem to be .25". I did not do a box test on it because the adjustment won't be changed now that the gun is sighted in. Now to see if it will stand up to field use.

Really not impressed with the Diamondback. The low light performance was on par with a Bushnell Banner, in my opinion. Probably should have spent the extra 20-30 bucks and got a VXI or leftover Bushnell 3200. I really wanted to like this scope so I think I will send it back and see what they will do. Hopefully I got a bad one.

I used this scope the first day of deer season and it fogged up on the inside. Now to see how good they stand by the warranty
Any word on how they handled the situation.
