I like them, Did you turn the bobbers!
I turned the bobbers out of one inch poplar dowel and used 3/16 dowel for the shaft. I drilled the dowel in about 2 inches before turning the shape, sanded the bobber body, and parted it off. Then I glued the shaft in place and sealed the whole thing with wipe on polyurethane. When that was dry, I painted with water based Rustoleum paint. When that was dry, I mounted the shaft end into a variable speed electric drill and spun the bobber slowly while applying the stripes with an oil based paint pen I also made some full size vintage style bobbers.
