Unfortunately due to my smartphone camera dying I missed out on photos for the better part of the season but now I'm back in business with a new iPhone. It took a little bit of time to figure things out but I have managed to take a few photos this season.

Greg was kind enough to forward one pic of a hot but productive opening day.

The birds were sometimes difficult to find but once we figured out a few pieces of the puzzle things started to pick up.

Morgan has been working hard and has brought a few my way.

We hit some of the "out of the way" places which seemed to hold enough birds to keep things interesting.

Morgan and the old man Toby both did well in the old farm cover

We even found a couple of good places to have lunch and take a break

Sometimes taking a break during the day really pays off

Recently I have taken some time to chase the PA stocked birds and enjoyed some history lessons along the way.

I hope everyone is having a great season!

One of my favorite aspects of bird hunting, wandering around different parts of the state that I wouldn't normally visit.

Great looking pups, birds & lunch spots.

Thanks for taking us along.

BrushBuster,
Great photo essay, the picture of your lab with the Grouse in front of the Rock is a framer!
