Anyone having a boat in the water along the south Jersey or Delaware should have someone check on it if you're planning to leave it in during the storm.
I pulled mine out early this afternoon and things were already deteriorating.
In Cape May County RT 47 closed due to tidal flooding. Was windy and raining.
New Jersey issued a State of Emergency and schools were closing.
Tomorrow is when the fun starts. They are expecting the storm to be off the coast but even being wrong by 50 or so miles will cause significant damage to boats. With all the rain if you do not have a cover bilge pumps could drain batterys.
I'll be able to sleep better knowing the boat is not in the water.
Hopefully this will be the only storm and it will be back in for stripers and can stay in until late December.
