Shoot it into a target. I keep a small layered type target in the back of my truck. I use an old arrow with a field point so my broadheads stay sharp.

Crossbows are a pain in the rear..You got to come out of the woods before dark and shoot it into a target from your vehicle..

With the excalibur you re-attach cocking rope. put foot in stirrup pull with one hand squeeze trigger of course remove arrow first ...real simple and quick no need for target or shooting bow
