I personally don't like to remain loaded for the season especially if wet weather has been about. I unload removing the breech. I have used the pellets again if they are not crushed....and the should not be crushed but that happens. I'm a little picky about doing everything I can to make sure ignition occurrs EVERY TIME and wet powder charge from rain making it's was down the bore during drives is always a concern for me.

The 209 primers are good and will work. Primers can drastically affect accuracy and grouping. If it groups well with that primer...use it and only that brand. In one instance we discovered that 3 different 209 primers produced groups that differed by almost 3". Of course your gun will determine what she likes and you cannot do much but try to appease her. Just like a wife!! Good Luck!

I can't say a word about mine. I wanted to Hunt bear in Maine this year....she booked it. I wanted a x-bow....she drove me to meet the guy to buy it. I was gonna hang at the house and get stuff done this weekend,,,,she said," You are going to camp. Your leaving Friday and I'll see ya when ya get home"

Now my first wife...... let's not go there!
