I'm new to the muzzleloader world and I have a few questions. I have learned quite a bit by reading this forum over the last year and that is what prompted me to try the "addiction".
1. I have a CVA Optima. I'm using 777 pellets 100grain with a 295gr powerbelt. If I don't fire the gun, when I come home can I remove the breech plug and remove the pellets and bullet and reuse the bullet (not the pellets) or do I need to fire the bullet/load out everytime I hunt?
2. My dad bought Remington 209 STS Premier shotgun primers. Are these OK to use in a 50 cal muzzleloader that uses 209 primers?
