Saturday (1/9/10) I took my fourth deer in about six years with my Lyman deerstalker. Chris and I were in Lycoming Co on the family farm. After putting on a short drive we were standing there talking when he told me there was a big doe coming towards me at 30 yards. "Turn around slowly". Yeah right, no waite he doesn't kid around about hunting. I turn around and there she is in the saplings walking straight at me. I pulled the trigger and heard klick. She jumped side ways. Try again. Round ball hit high in the lungs right where I aimed. Aimed high due to flinching on the first shot. She ran about 100 yds. Chris says she taste great. Time with a good friend "Priceless". Thanks, lets do it again next year.
