I shot a real nice gobbler yesterday with an 11" beard but the beard has bugs in it. How can I get rid of the bugs? I use Borax at the end of the beard to preserve it. Any suggestions would greatly be appreciated. Thanks

Seriously???

Bug Spray??? A dusting of Seven??? Freeze it???

Soak it under water??? Pick them off one by one???

Actually Borax the entire beard and the bugs will leave.

What kind of bugs... just outta curiosity? Killed many birds, but never any with bugs in their beard although, I've had a few bugs in my beard so I guess anything is possible

The bugs were real small. Almost looked a little green in color. I put the beard on the garage with borox on it. Seems to be working.
