I'm trying a new mix. A little of everything...

Wheat, oats, triticale, winter peas, crimson clover and brassicas.

I decided to try a bigger variety in one plot to see how it works out. I'll be planting it Wednesday, hopefully not too late in the season for south central PA. I'll let you all know how it turns out.

Sounds a lot like Outfitter's Blend. I planted some this year and it's growing great. Fence will come down a few weeks before the season opens.

Everything but the brassicas can be planted 1/4 to 1/2 inch deep. I would broadcast the brassicas on the surface after planting the others.
