Thanks guys
We set up in a pretty big field that still had beans in it and cut corn above them. As soon as I hit the call we saw a set of eyes. The came running down out of the beans towards the farm house and I couldn't get a good id on it. It only stopped for a couple seconds and turned around and went back to the beans. We decided it was probably a coyote so I switched the call up to pup distress and the field lit up. There were at least 4. Three started to come that I could see. They were hesitant at first but the one finally came in to about 150 yards and sat down. I shot him and the rest took off with no shots. I played a few more calls and waited a bit but no eyes so we decided to go see if I hit that one. We got about 3/4 of the way there and I saw eyes bouncing through the beans so I pulled out my hand call and made a lot of noise and the second a female came in and sat down at 100 yards. I shot her and my buddy told me to keep calling and shot the third another male not sure how far he was but the 2 I shot with the 17 hornet didn't go anywhere. The third was shot with a 17 hmr and we had to follow up on him. No more shooting the rest of the night but after that I was ok with it.
