Trip advice: Petersburg, AK Wrangell narrows

Just booked a trip to a lodge around Petersburg. Our first ever trip planned to AK. We are headed to the wrangell narrows. Have a group of six including a young buck 11 yrs old. Looking to catch some kings and halibut to take back. We are staying at Island point. Just looking for some advice if anyone has been to the specific area.
