I have a 90 acre property that I am trapping and targeting only fox and throughout the hunting seasons and scouting trips, I know there are good fox numbers on this property. I'm new to all this, and want your opinion as to how many sets you would have on a property of this size?

The size of the property has little to do with the equation for me. I look at the number of travel corridors and at least double set every good location.

every property is different when it comes to the amount of sets to use. I have some 200 acre farms that I may put out as many as 10 sets and I have some that I may only put out 2 sets. It is really hard to describe how to set up a property without really looking over it. but I would look for the spot where you think that every fox on the property and surrounding porperties will pass and set it first with at least a double set and if it shows plenty of sign maybe a triple set, then maybe put out two or three more sets in foxy looking places where they may hunt or travel. The longer you trap them the easier the locations jump out at you. The best way to learn a new farm is to simply walk the property two to three days after a fresh snow and let the foxes tell you where they like to travel. I hope this helps
