Today I take my coyote hunting/scouting trip, snow on the ground plenty of coyote tracks. One group of tracks looked to have four coyote traveling together. Following them for maybe a quarter mile, when the tracks turn and backtracked for a few yards then off to the side and gone. Seventy steps down the road another set of tracks coming toward me then turn and off over the side of the ridge. Where these two tracks turned there is lots of pee and poo marking. I am thinking this could be bounty lines. If so this means there are seven coyotes in that area. There is a lot of ridge to run. One set of tracks was three inches long.
