Have a pair of danner boots. Used them 3 seasons now.

The stitching on the plastic toe cover/guards tore loose on one of them.

I have worn these boots through some tough terrain and have had no leaks.

The leather is in good shape and I treat them with mink oil annually.

Will Danner fix/replace them?

If not, do you guys know any decent boot repair shops who can fix them in the Scranton/Wayne County area who:
---can fix them?
---can fix them and they will still be water proof?

If you stich them they will leak as you will perforate the waterproof membrane (gore tex). Try super glue or Weldwood contact cement, it is waterproof. A shoe maker might use "barge cement' aslo water proof. But you can either send them back and get new ones, or glue them.
