Caribou fly tying hair at a discount price! that's right!

It's actually FREE.....to a club that ties or a school club. I have one Caribou hide that I offered to anyone last year that may need it but nobody took me up on it.

Ideally, I would hope that that it could be used by a school club, veterans group or younger group that ties. But, If you have a use for it it's all yours. I'm located in NEPA (work in Scranton area live near Broadheadsville) I could meet you locally.

This fly tying material is similar to elk and deer hair, and so fly tyers find that working with all can provide a very similar fly tying experience. They all seem to be interchangeable and although all are hollow, caribou fly tying hair is known to be...

Soft
Silky
Light so it floats
Durable

This makes caribou fly tying hair a near-perfect dry fly material, and it is preferred when tying smaller versions of artificial fly tying patterns, such as stimulators and realistic imitators. It can also be used on mayfly emergers, caddis emergers/drys and hairwing duns like Compara-duns and Sparkle Duns.
