Was out doing some bird watching today when I ran into this fellow on the road, almost got him because he was in a shadow at first, but fortunately I missed and I was able to get a couple pictures before leaving him.

not 50 yards down the road doesn't a bear run across the road, but he was booking...no time to even get the camera out.

Also stopped by this vista for a couple of quick picks
