So I went into my 1/2 acre field tonight to spray it so I can plant oats and rye over the holiday weekend and realized that the rye and rape that I allowed to go to seed, re-seeded itself after I had mowed it off 4 weeks ago. I have another acre to plant in my main field, but I have about 160lbs of oats and rye seed to plant in total. Would you allow the re-seeded plants to continue or would you spray it and start fresh?

I hate spraying desired plants...tough one personal call but probably wipe slate clean follow your plan.

There's a little bit of fox tail in the rape, but no more than I had come up last year. The rye is nearly weed free. I thought about running the disc through and putting a light coating of oats over top, but the current growth is already so far ahead that I feel it would just be a waste of oat seed.
