Yep that’s it and you’re correct on it can get bad or at least look bad. Nelson Run and Rock Ridge are both good on top, but I don’t like the drop off the side of Nelson heading to the bottom in the ice.
You’re right about that Denny, there are some roads up north that I wouldn’t drive in the winter once we get snow. I ran some of them when when I was younger, but have since learned the error of my earlier ways.
I bought tire chains a couple years ago just to be able to drive 2 miles down into this one spot in rifle season, but haven’t braved it yet with ice on the roads. I just hunt somewhere else.
