Nice area. I don't hunt up there. If you can't find anyone my best suggestion is getting a GPS. I have a hard time finding someone who wants to hunt squirrels with dogs a lot of times and the GPS has opened a lot of doors for me.
tioga state forest grouse hunting
Hello i am new to the forum. I have a cabin on pine creek in rexford walking distance to tioga state forest. I have been grouse hunting there for a few years and have some good spots but dont venture too far from the cabin. I dont know anyone in the area or anyone who knows the woods well. If anyone is from the area and would be interested in showing someone around i could ise a friend in the area.

GPS' are great. I would also like to add that you can look at the area you are considering hunting on Google Earth beforehand. It helps you "put it all together."huntsmenbob said:Nice area. Also, there is an app for the iphone called GPS kit. You can actually see your position in satellite view and zoom in our zoom. It is really neat.
