I missed a few years, so I expect to be behind on any timber sales in PA. Looks like enough changes this year to keep me busy.
Some with tree stands users are going to be surprised in the fall.
Glad I won't depend on one special tree stand. Won't see the disappointment of a couple of other hunters.

No Freytown, you won't be bothered like some tree stand users, who might get their tree stands removed on timbered land.

Timbering in the area

Wayne County
GL 310
near Lake Ariel

Monroe County
GL 127
near Brady's Lake

Pike County

Near Porter Twp PA DCNR
two other locations. Area not indicated.

Lackawanna County

no timbering listed
notice more land acquired by PA
State Forest Lands. Some was former
Water Co. land.

Yep wait until all of the left over deer start picking them up. Where we hunt the deer look in the trees. One buddy was picked out at 75-80 yds. and he was 27 feet up.

I knew you were talking about timber cutting on SGL. Just by the way you worded the introduction. I find people here have just have a hard time understanding simple English. And in stead of just asking for clarification or rewording they have to get opinionated, or smart. Any way MUS42 thanks for pointing out, logging effects more then just the placement of Tree Stands, I don't deer hunt SGL's but still may save someone a total surprise.
