I would like to get a laminated thumbhole stock for my Ruger 77 Tang safety S/A. I've tried Boyds, McMillan, Fajen, and Keystone Arms with no success. Anyone know of any companies making one to fit my gun? Not looking for a high dollar show stock, just a good laminated thumbhole for normal hunting.

Wenig Custom Gun Stocks list the 77 SA as a pattern for their sporter thumbhole.........I cant find a pic on their website, but it is a pretty standard sporter thumbhole stock........I'm sure you could email them, and they could get you a picture...........they are also very reasonably priced......

Never thought I'd like a thumbhole rifle stock, until I shot a few rifles that had them. The first one was a M700 in 308 that a neighbor built years ago.

Absolutely the ticket for offhand shooting.
