The only bad thing is that I will spend lots of money there....lol. My wife has told me I need to get busy building another rifle soon...and she has an eye for the fancy grade of maple.

Last year there was very little being sold in the way of gun parts, at least compared to Dixon's Fair. Chambers selling locks, Dave Keck and Reeve's Goering with butt plates and trigger gaurds. Maybe a few more. If you want to buy a completed gun or place and order, take money $$$$, lots of money. Great selection.

In the adjoining building was a great display of original guns, horns and bags. Most were collectors displaying there collection but a few were for sale.

I ordered Chambers Fowler kit in advance and had him bring it to the show for pick up. This saved quite a bit on shipping costs.

See your there,
Bill

I will probably be up on Friday. Jon puts on a great show. A lot the guys that attend the CLA show come to this show as well.

For those of you in western PA, the Old Westmoreland Rifle Collectors show is January 30th from 9 am to 4 pm. This a great show as well with a mix of originals and contemporary makers. This is a KRA associated event. I will be out there as well so hope some of you can join us.

Great place too----we stayed there this summer when we took the kids to Knobels for two days! Great food.
