Wind is finally supposed to break tonight up here in northern potter. Been blowing for 4 days up here and man did it shut things down. Really brought the temps down and it snowed like crazy for a bit this morning but I seen zero deer, all the scrapes went cold and untouched and hardly anything moving on cam. In the mid 20's tonight and calm in the morning. Hopefully it gets things going again.

Seems like every year of late during the rut it's always windy. Nothing I hate worse then sitting all day with a cold wind beating on me. We could use a break from the wind, I did see seven does last night in the wind but nothing tonight.

The wind finally stopped at 6:30 just as I was climbing down.

I saw a ton of deer on saturday when there was a tonne of deer and rain. The wind is less now, but still there. If you have the magic formula to predicting deer movement, you should go to vegas. retirement awaits you.
