Well, we did it again. The 2010 Susquehanna Co QDMA banquet was a success!! We sold out of our 175 tickets, had some great food, great prizes and some nice auction items. Last year, I won the Parker Buckbuster, and I killed a nice 8 point buck and 2 doe before the 2nd week of October was in the books. Stack Jr killed his first archery buck with it the 2nd Thursday of October too!! This year, he won the Parker Buckbuster!! I don't know who was more excited, Jr, Mrs Stack or me!! Only 22 weeks to wait, and 7 full moons until rut!!!

am close to pulling the trigger on one... In your opinion is the Tornado THE crossbow ?
In compound limb models I would say yes, well at least for US and in that price range. You likely can get more speed or a little more bells and whistles with a higher price one, but accuracy, power, ability to fit various shooters, meat on the table...I just can't see how it can get better.

Two deer last year, dead in 20 yards agree.

That said I am getting the scaled down Tornado this time ,the new Enforcer so we have another to use that is a bit lighter for the kids/wife and a little less $. Would get another Tornado if I could, but got an in-line and another deer rifle to buy in 2010 too.
....the Enforcer's accuracy is proving comparable to the Tornados in normal bowrange and that is what matters the most to me. Quick, clean kill shots ending in happy hunters young and old.

I may be a little biased though, just becasue of all the weapons I have purchsed for the my up and coming troops the last few years, the Tornado has made the biggest impact on fun at the range, and days in the field together.

The Parker Tornado and the Excalibur Ibex are two of my favorites. If I'm going hunting the Tornado is the one. If I head to the range, I like the Ibex.
I recently acquired a Maxpoint (Excalibur with a compound front end) that I'm learning to like too.
