Got a call this evening and won one of these on a gun bash ticket. It's a 22-250 in snow camo. Hoping I can swap for the regular real tree camo. It's got the 1:12 twist. Anybody got one? I have no experience with TC rifles. Wondering if it will stabilize the 64gr win pp factory loads or if I gotta stay in the 55gr range.

1:12 should stabilize those bullets for you...my father has a venture and he really likes it. My limited experience with his made a very good impression on me. According to him it is very accurate. Good luck!

Better than the usual 1-14 twist barrels....I'd say it will be just about perfect for the 65 area bullets, nice rifles...watched one in action shooting 2 inch groups at 200 yards, more than good enough...

Well I did get to exchange the snow camo for the regular camo. I picked up a few boxes of different shells and hit the range. Win 64 gr PP were so so. Federal fusion 55 gr were within 1in MOA. Barnes Vortex 50 gr TSX were lights out accurate. As accurate as my .222. I'm very reluctant to leave my Duece in the safe this season it's track record is flawless but this combo will leave them like they were struck by lightning. Its a nice little gun. Probably not one I would go buy but for a $10 gun bash ticket I'm very very happy.
