Just got a stainless synthetic .50 caliber 22 inch barrel, in excellent condition for $150.
Little booger is VERY accurate! With the open sights it came with ( GOT to get a good aperture sight), 3 shot groups at 50 were from 1 3/8 down to 7/16s. This was with 70 grains of 3f Swiss, a 250 gr 45 XTP and a Harvester Crush Rib sabot. Chrono'd velocity is 1540 fps which is only 50 fps slower than my 26 inch Black Diamond XR.
I got a walnut stock and trigger guard from Classic Firearms and Parts and now she's properly set up. Looks SHARP!
Outstanding rifle! Handles and fits me better than any rifle I've ever owned. Easy to clean too. Never thought open breech/ plunger rifles were at all troublesome.
Can't wait to take her for a walk!

Elaine stole mine from me at the shop the day I/she bought it! Anyway, it too will drive tacks with 100grs of Select and a 250gr SST sabot. (She even made me put on a 3X9X40 Leupold for her....I am so abused!)

My first inline was a Traditions Tracker 209. Converting to percussion caps made a good rifle better. My daughter confiscated it when she started hunting. That was 15 years ago...
