Does any body know where I can get a fast twist TC Hawken Barrel. It's a .50 cal flinter and it shoots teribble with maxhunters and maxiballs. Bullet weight doesn't matter. Green Mountian doesn't make them anymore. Any Ideas?

The maxiballs key hole don't they? My grandfathers TC Hawken shot the same way. It did shoot sabot's fairly well.

Since I reload for a 44 mag I had a bunch of 200 gr hollow points laying around. I went and bought some empty sabot hulls, and tried them. They shot good out both his TC hawken and my cabelas hawken. Both had 1:48 twist.

Did you just get a 50 caliber GM Drop-in flinter from GM? I saw some 45 caps but not flinters.

What barrel length are they?

28inch and mine is cap and need to convert to flint which I am getting from track of the wolf,mine was 110.00
