Are the pistol barrels different for the Pro-Hunter the reg Encore and the Contender? I'm looking to get a 22LR for my pro-hunter.They have a contender barrel at Gander for 149.00 that's way cheap.But I cant imagine they are interchangeable.

All encore barrels interchange with all encores.Contenders are the same,all contenders are interchangeable no matter which generation they are.Encore barrels DO NOT interchange with contenders.
