I got tired of the hassle of where to put my crossbolts when target shooting with my crossbow so I went to Lowes and bought some plumbing parts and built a target quiver. The PVC pipe is 2 inch x 12 inches long the rest is a reducer and a 3 inch plugged flange.

I made one similar to that...you might want to add some weight to the bottom to keep it upright...I used a old 5 or 10 lb vinyl weight for mine.

I stuck mine in a large coffee can with concrete. Didn't need the flange, stick the pipe in the concrete and let it harden.

There is enough weight and width to keep the thing upright. 3 or 4 20 inch cross bolts don't weigh enough to tip it over.

I use mine for conventional arrows so the added weight is necessary, but for x-bow bolts it wouldn't be. I made several so that when a group of us get together at my place we can each have our own.
