If he passes the HTE and his parents allow you to take him hunting, then yes, you can take him.

How would his Dad feel about tagging along and making it a family experience? Pop may also want to take HTE, and who knows, after he goes out he may want to try it!

You can take him, I have accompanied both of my nephews many times.

I have taken my friends kids hunting before, and this year I hope to take my great nephew out even though he can't shoot yet I hope to lure him in.

A kid under 16!Like Gal said have him take his HTE and take him out with you if his parents allow!
