Thanks for passing that along. Wish I would have thought of that along time ago instead of messing with the cardboard!

Great idea. I'd still lay it on a piece of cardboard and lay a magazine or newspaper over those rump feathers so they lay and dry flat.

I have three screw into the plywood walls in my garage specifically for this task.
The center one is slightly lower than the outer two, and they protrude about 2".
Borax the tail, put the center of the meat on the middle screw, and tuck the bottom feather of each side up over the out screws.


............Your method is a bit simpler and should let the fan breath better. I'll be sure to grab one of my wife's hardwood "slacks" hanger for the next one. LOL


I kind of laughed to myself when I added three fans to the stack this year.......what in the world am I saving them all for????
I guess when a buddy wants a fan to use I'll have one to give away.

I did 1 using push pins on plywood .... the hardest part for me was finding Borax. None of the chain stores had it ended up finding it at an Amish store.
