I like it.
Just a question .... Are fishers ever "fat" ? I saw one during bow season, It was really dark , almost black, had grey stripes down its back but was rather chubby looking, rather than long and thin.
I was sitting on top of a timber pile right next to a recent pipe line, and it climbed up the pile checking in between the logs for food. It got as close as 12 feet from me, then went to the next timber pile. Every fisher i had seen before had no stripes and was very thin and long. this one was about 30" tip to tail, but the thing looked like it was twice the weight as the ones i have seen. Any thoughts?
hey KT
i guess they are like everything else,, some are skinner then others ,,,some have diff color phases. mine has white armpit hair and alil white around his junk so each critter is different i suppose. they are a very stocky critter tho.
hope this helps ya
Thats great! I put in a bunch of quick blown out dirthole's hopin for a cat or fisher. The only result so far is a digger coyote that is in for a suprise if he keeps it up.
Nice catch! Should have made the chain so he could have touched the ground though. I bet it wasnt to comfortable hanging there all night and morning.

good point . not the most eye pleasing photo , plus with the weight pulling down and the sapling so close she had lots of leverage.
Make the chain longer wraps around the trees real bad and does some damage. Looks to me like it could have probly almost touched the ground and climbed up that sapling. I like how you did that leaning pole set how did you do it crawl up it or is it lower than it looks in the pic?
