Help me out here.. I just won this gun from a gun ticket. All of my life I hunted with my trusty bow, and never got into muzzleloader. This year I plan to hunt bear with this gun. What is the best combo to use when shooting this gun?

It has a 1/28 twist rate and was designed to use sabots. I like the Hornday 50 cal sabots that use a 45 cal. 250 grain SST bullet. 90 grains of FFg Black powder is good for any game in PA.

congrats on the win! I have the triumph,not bone collector addition.It is a very nice gun,and I enjoy shooting it. I shoot 250 grain shockwaves,two triple seven pellets and winchester triple seven primers and get very tight groups at 100 yards. I have yet to use it on a deer,maybe this year.
