This is a time to make some great snacks, meals, dips, etc.

What is everyone making special for the "Big game"

Usually we do wings and jalapeno poppers (both a crowd favorite). I was thinking about doing ribs this year instead as I found a good sale at Sams Club.

I give up! lol

I will stick to planning my food for the game.
I am thinking Ribs, Filet, Sausage's for the meat
Chips and some buffalo chicken dip for snacks
And some Oakmont bakery for desserts

I am a food Nazi at my house but it's a day to relax and enjoy family and friends and good food.

Grandpa's sauerkraut and kielbasa recipe

One onion chopped

Put in large cold frying pan with a 1/4 lb. of butter

Cook for ten minutes or until onions are done

Put in two teaspoons of minced garlic (more or less to taste)

Cook for another two minutes

Cut two lbs. kielbasa into two inch long pieces

Put in one large bag sauerkraut sprinkle with black pepper

Add two pounds cut kielbasa

Cover with lid

Cook until it's simmering

Preheat oven to 250 degrees

Transfer ingredients to a large baking dish and cover loosely with foil

Bake 3 hours until done. kielbasa should be very tender.

Make a sandwich on a Liscio, Aversa or Italian style roll and load up with mustard

Crack open an ice cold beer and watch the Eagles beat the Pats

P.S. It's very important to follow the last line of the recipe

P.s.s. Some people add cubed potatoes to the recipe and serve on a plate. If you do this, I would precook the potatoes and add to the baking dish about an hour before it's done.
