Years ago when gas was over $4, I sold my truck and bought an Outback. I used a hitch carrier for deer. I even took it to Colorado for an elk hunt. Just not the same. You can do it but you'll be longing for a truck.Who uses a Subaru, specifically an Outback, for their hunting vehicle? I've been looking at these and the reviews, info and specs seem to point to them being a great vehicle. But, I have always had a truck and I worry the Outback may not fit the bill. Worst case, I could utilize a hitch-haul to carry deer.
