40 miles was the run last year. I am not sure what quad your running but you should be fine. first one is normally light. even more so if the weather is crappy. I would expect less then 1000 riders. around 500 would be more like it. it is probably one of the better runs.

well- i was there - with about - 700 hundred other riders-just my view- never been there and might not ever go back- within a hour of being there a young man hit me while i was waiting for another person going down a hill- he hit me hard enough to put me in a tree--broke a headlight- he never stopped-(could happen anywhere) kept on going-then going down another hill there was a roll over- so i was stopped on top again--people were helping the young man back up - they told me to come on down- i was really going slow- all of a sudden- i was on the ground and my quad was on top of me- still at this time have no idea what i did wrong- but i broke my master cycinder-- no brakes- - oh well-did not break any bones but i am black/blue from ankle to my shoulder- made it to check-point #2- and they escorted me back to my truck- dont get me wrong- alot of fun/mud-nice to ride on a sunday- but there was alot of people in a hurry-??-like i said just my view- the guys that i was there with love it- maybe just not my style-

may I suggest blue knob poker run. the emphsis the fact that they have a limited mph and are a bit stricter. I haven't ran into the problems you had but we normally are one of the first ones to roll out and the first to get back. not sure how it is later in the day. sorry it wasn't that good of an experience for you.

there is but the bridge is not bad. people make it out to be a thousand times worse then it is in real life. it isn't any different then riding on ground. your quad won't be sucked off the bridge for no reason. just take it slow across and keep to the one side.
