Thinking about going after some bushy tails tmrw
I never ever hunted them in the late season.Can anyone give me some tips?
Hows the activity during the winter?Are they out or mostly denned up
It supposed to be a little warmer tommorrow

Here in Berks Co they have been active but with this cold weather comming they may be denned up more.

I got 4 on tuesday witg my 12ga, it was about 33deg. Hunt the tops of hills and look for holes in the trees. Just walk in and sit down for 20min they will show.

I agree with hunting the hill tops. Also, no need to wake up early like you would in the fall. Seems to me they're more active in the late morning/early afternoon this time of year. Just walk slow and listen. You'll either hear them rustling leaves on the ground or scratching they're way up a tree.

I tan them, they look pretty cool with the nose ears, wiskars. It just takes some practice... leave the last 2 in tail bone in or the tail will rip off.
