Why are we not allowed to do this in Pa? Its more traditional then fly fishing. The Indians did it well. Sounds like im going out on a limb here but I think it would be fun to try and ethical. Hard to do. I giged for flounder in NC before and let me tell u its harder then u think. Just woundering your opinions?

I hope you pass it so you can start gigging out all the carp from the Conestoga!

You are allowed to gig carp in PA, this is from the regulation book.

SPEARS OR GIGS – Spears or gigs may be used to take ONLY carp and suckers and catfish. Spears or gigs may not be mechanically propelled, may not have more than five barbed points and may not be used in approved trout waters.

your also allowed to bow fish for carp, suckers, and they just passed it so you can shoot catfish now.
