While trying to replace the spark plug in my 1988 yamaha terro pro it fell into the housing where the flywheel is and I cannot get it out. I tried to remove the screen cover but 4 out 5 screws were stripped.

Is this something I should be concerned about. I did start the ATV and there seemed to be no issues.

I only use this ATV to cut my lawn and never go over 5 mph.

I'd be concerned. The plug could get caught up in the belt and do some damage.

When you say the screws are stripped do you mean the screw heads or the screw threads?

Could you get a long thin magnet into the housing? They sell a couple of different extendable magnets at Harbor Freight.
