It is a friends gun, I'm just trying to get some info for him. He looked at them and doesn't have that kind of money to drop. He is mainly after some adjustability out of it. The gun shoots very well for a short barrel it just needs to be dialed in a little bit.
My SP101 was shooting low and I "fixed it" by filing down the front sight a bit. It is a permanent fix, so you have to be careful. The nice thing about the SP101 is that a replacement front sight blade is not that expensive and can be purchased from Ruger. Think a spare was less than $20 when I bought mine. If you decide to trade or sell the gun, you can pop the new one in. (There is a pin that has to be removed to do so).
