Still havent made my decision. Im off Friday so gonna drive around with the boy and do some "scouting". Yellow breeches hasnt been real good to us the last few yrs . Thinking about Bermudian unless I see something worthwhile at the breeches. Where 's everybody else going?

Well the state really cut back their allotment too . Doesnt take much help to dump three buckets in two miles which is about how bad it was when i helped one day last yr. It doesnt get good there until the club stocks and that isnt till after the second week. May can be excellent though . Just not a good opener choice imo.

I think i will be fishing at a sportsman club pond that i am a member of..the trout the stocked are alot nicer than the ones being put into the creeks..last time i went to a creek the first day caught limit quick but the quality of the fish were terrible...catching 10 and 11 inchers...just not my cup of tea...and i also agree..float stocking is much better than just going and dumping the buckets in the same exact spot as i have seen that happen quite often

I'll be on the Bushkill Creek in Northampton if the weather isn't too raw. Helped them stock 36 buckets of fish in one .25 section of creek. I'd say that's enough lol. I'm just in it for the kido's though. I doubt I'll reel in a single fish. My time comes later.

Sounds like a good spot. Can you send a photo? Maybe with a tree in the back ground.

Trout, you cant be saying stuff like that lol. Me and my friend live up by wilkes barre and we always go down south for the southern opener and fish the bushkill outside of Easton. Now my minds racing to where we should fish.

Its a big creek brother. Plenty of room. Meanwhile I went ton the section today and not a trout to be found so it appears they shuffled around good with the 2.5" of rain we got early last week or the week before. It was flooded and that will move fish all over.

For the first time in 30 years?? I will not be heading out for our traditional first day. I can thank a sister who decided to need help moving on that day......ugh, family!

It was not the only reason though. Because temps are so cold right now I don't want to drag my boy out that early for a slow bite. We will however find ourselves on French Creek in the afternoon chasing what is left.

Will be up at Deep creek in Schuykill county , this is the first year my wife will be with me. She doesn't know what she's in for, its gonna be cold lol. I like it up there very few people fishing compared to around here where its wall to wall humanity. Second week stepson is coming up and we will be hitting the Little Lehigh and Jordan.

I'm going to brave it for the first time in 3 years. I'll be somewhere in the Wiconisco for the morning, then heading to a pig roast at lunchtime. Most likely will finish out the evening on the Powells in some private stretches of water. Good luck to all that are going and be safe
