I need an little technical help please.
I want to plant some apple trees this year, I have no idea what the propper name would be for the type of tree / apples
other than a sour green apple. Perhaps the apples of my youth( early 70s 20 miles west of Chicago) were picked to early? and just tasted sour? or is there such tree as a sour apple tree? I do remember them being green, and tasty.
Can any one here point me in the right direction? I would like to plant 3 trees, two sour apple, and from what I have read on the net, another tree to help them pollinate?
Thanks in advance to any you who can help.
